What I find interesting from the product sheet is that it was co-developed by Panasonic:
This ReRAM product was jointly developed with Nuvoton Technology Corporation Japan (former Panasonic Semiconductor Solutions Co., Ltd)
... so perhaps its fab-friendliness, or lack thereof, is similar to eMemory ReRam.

These companies have an undeniable head start on Weebit. On the bright side, Panasonic ReRam has been available to purchase since before 2016 and it hasn't set the world on fire.
