    Just a minor update:

    ReRAM
    • TSMC
    • 40RRAM And 28/22RRAM in volume production
    • 28RRAM achieves >10 years 125° retention (automotive grade)
    • 12RRAM to be released in 1Q2024
    • Weebit Weebits testing of reliability at 28nm is very promising. Previously using pure SiOx, the current material is a trade secret. Weebit may be attempting to partner with fabs, but also with individual SoC designers from multiple companies. Weebit will need to produce fast, low power and most importantly cheap memory in order to compete in a crowded memory market. Weebit's ReRAM strength's lead towards multiple target markets, but they must deliver as promised and quickly to justify the $1 billion market cap before patent expiration.
    • 130nm available at Skywater & DB Hitek
    • 22nm in testing with Global Foundries 22FDX
    • STMicroelectronics - Vague details available, probably using OxRAM, Weebit aims to compete on price.
    • ReRAM Available today on their embedded products @28nm, 32Kb.
    • Xinyuan Semiconductor , aka Innostar ReRAM
    • Purchased intellectual property from CrossBar
    • Produced at 28nm made domestically in China.
    • Appears to be still in development, last capital raising March 2024
    • Fujitsu Direct competitor. using technology developed with Nuvoton (Panasonic) & build in the Nuvoton Japanese fab. 2x3mm, targeting wearbles, phones medical devices etc. Low power, pricing not publicly available.
    • Discrete product commercially available at 12Mbit, part: MB85AS12MT
    • Does not appear to be targetting embedded
    • eMemory Direct Competitor. Taiwanese Silicon IP company, partnering with UMC. 4Mb IP Blocks available for purchase in 40-22nm . 2-3 masks, located between two back-end metal layers. ~35F2 1T1R cell. eMemory and UMC licensed the basic ReRAM technology from Panasonic Semiconductor Solutions Co., Ltd. Weebit claims to have a simpler and cheaper ReRAM product.
    • Ppartnering with UMC. 4Mb IP Blocks available for purchase in 40-22nm
    • 4DS Startup developing stacked ReRAM, probably slower & more expensive than Weebit's product. Currently struggling to produce a stable product, but technology still has promise & shall compete in some of the target markets of Weebit.
    • Crossbar Producing ReRAM since 2017. Partnered with SMIC, targeting embedded market. The product is believed to have inferior qualities to SiOx ReRAM developed by Weebit (slower, more expensive). Apparently available to purchase the memory IP cores for custom implementation at 1x & 2x nm, but little seen in the wild other than Microsemi license. Patents & IP appear to be have been sold off, key staff now at Weebit. Company is pretty much dead from ReRam viewpoint.
    • Intrinsic Intrinsic is a 2017 spin-off from University College London. Early stage development of Silicon-oxide ReRAM, testing at 50nm, direct competitor to Weebit. Unsure if using Weebits nanoporous silicon oxide – a mix of silicon dioxide and silicon monoxide. Although WBT claims to have slightly modified the composition now. May end up in court to determine if WBT's patents are valid.
    • Leti Leti has its own take on ReRAM that it calls OxRAM. Cost & performance unknown.
    • Minatec Research organization developing ReRAM with CEA-Leti. Produced 16kb 28nm wafers in 2021 a tiny amount of silicon into the active metal (hafnium oxide).
    • Infineon Previously known as Siemens, produces products using TSMC ReRAM. Unsure if partnering with TSMC for ReRAM development, or purely purchasing TSMC ReRAM
    • Sandisk 2013 - MeOx-based 32Gb ReRAM test chip developed in 24nm technology. Sandisk & Toshiba. 2015 working with HP. Development work continued, but commercial availability is lacking. Sandisk acquired by WD in 2016.
    • HP Was developing ReRAM with Sandisk in 2015, little heard since.
    • XTX Technology XTX is a Chinese Fabless IC designer, specializing in memory. Weebit was partnering with XTX in 2019 to commercialize ReRAM, but failed to produce results. Does not appear to be pursing ReRAM
    • Elpida Japanese memory specialist announced a prototype ReRAM with 64Mb @ 50NM back in 2012. Now branded as Micron
    • KIOXIA presented 32Gbit ReRAM technology at ISSCC with SanDisk in 2013, presented 4Gbit STT-MRAM technology at IEDM with SK-hynix in 2016…. Never launched?
