    Leading chip manufacturers, Globalfoundries Inc. and STMicroelectronics NV are in discussions about building a joint wafer fab in France, according to a Bloomberg report.     Not sure if this has been posted before.... I do believe there is strong consensus that we are in discussions with Global Foundries,.. and that they are building a fab in conjunction with STMicroelectronics next door to CEA-Leti ....makes for very interesting prospects here.
