I understand that completely. That is why I dont want our initial foray into embedded getting us locked into a specialist niche with MILspec voodoo associated with it. I'd rather we faced the broader market and the superior general specs drive use into that more narrow market than the other way around.
Again, its just memory. I'd rather not see it lumped with CPUs, GPUs, complex backplanes, specialist neural chips etc from some new USA technology category from an ITAR perspective because that will screw us globally applicability wise. If FLASH isn't special, neither should we. And it isn't.
