You have framed the question that BRN is a rival to WBT, yet you have already identified that BRN is focused on A.I., WBT is not. Of all the devices today with memory, how many require A.I. functionality in order to operate? Think power management, boot loaders etc.
These two companies operate in totally different target markets but you already know that having referenced BRNs focus on A.I. capabilities. BRN is a CPU functional technology whereas WBT is a memory storage function.
Could WBT memory work in conjunction with a BRN SOC? Well the answer is yes, It may very well assist in A.I. processing capabilities.
WBT has alluded to Neuromorphic capabilities but this is a reference to processing the storage of information closer to the CPU with faster write/rewrite capabilities due to heat tolerance and due to bit addressable capabilities that existing flash cannot offer.
The two companies operate in similar spaces but are not directly comparable in my view.
Happy to be corrected and hear other’s thoughts on the subject.
