You asked so here goes...
1) MRAM looks to have better metrics than ReRAM, it's entirely possible that any potential purchaser of WBT or 4DS skip ReRAM entirely and go straight to MRAM.
2) Semiconductors are cyclical, with the current downturn in desktop and notebook sales it could be possible that Intel, AMD, Micron, etc. all pull back on acquisitions for a year or two.
3) Tech stocks in the USA are at all time highs, a correction or recession could lead to tech stocks being more cautions in their potential acquisitions
