I think we agree that MRAMs performance is off the scale but that it's only one bit per cell. According to this article, MRAM is already at 11nm and Everyspin had 1Gb/128MB chips. Now what would happen to ReRAM if Everyspin or someone else focus their research over the next two years on driving down the "cost per bit"? If they got it low enough then ReRAM might be a non-starter.
Also, TSMC are starting MRAM production in 2018 and ReRAM in 2019 (not using WBT or 4DS). To me it looks like TSMC are hedging their bets in terms of technology.
So, I want WBT to go up but I'm not betting the farm on it as there are too many unknowns in this space.
