LNG have released a statement that its not them (or their associates which would presumably rule out Petro as well) that have made the offer for WCL.
Interesting to see exactly who has lobbed this (it seems) low ball offer of 52c and whether we have a new player.
It is also interesting to see where this leaves LNG in respect of train 2 or even train 1 even if MPO gas is now secured.
Industry consolidation it seems is continuing at speed, MEL needs to tap into this and PH needs to get a deal done.
