wd gann and cnp

I met a guy on the weekend who was telling me about his past life as a very successful futures trader. He 'said' that he averaged 30-40k per week. He also said that he followed WD Gann's system. Apparently Gann was very famous early in the 20th century for his ability to predict movement on the stock markets & therefore realised massive success. And... apparently, astrology played a big part in him following certain cycles that also affected the stock market. I did some research about Gann and that does seem to be correct.

You gotta take these things with a grain of salt sometimes, but it made me curious nonetheless to know if any of the successful traders / investors on here who have been following the foibles of CNP over the past 7 or 8 months have been relying on such a system.

If so, I would like to hear from you and more specifically whether or not what he said has any substance to it in todays market and more specifically Centro (CNP)
