re: wdc & bhp .... great stocks - great future they should be part of every ones bottom draw,
I was looking at a guys work today who had bhp in 1983 and was taking the Bonus share plan, i estimated his annual return including bsl & ost to be 15% not bad, given the market was flat from 1987 to 1995ish and 2001 to 2004, (& pretty much no cgt when finally sold in 2778 by long lost rellies)
