This can be stopped if the politicians take action. Two years ago a group of militant vegans worked together using Google maps etc. to target pig farms, and in large numbers invaded the properties, destroying fences etc. They knew pig farm biosecurity was critical to keep out disease. The government (spearheaded by Nats senator Bridgette McKenzie if my memory serves me well) increased the penalties to $250,000 per person, per incident, including for those who only shared Google map info and coordinated the raids. The farm invasions stopped overnight.
