You can determine short trades based on supply & demand, but there will always be a "Mario Draghi" somewhere in some multinational Corporation that can change the way the wind usually blows....yes.... I can only see weekly trades at a time now. Thats what it has become now days....Any day there will be an event be it manipulated or otherwise. What is more of a concern is the amount of traders, investors or other wise that are complacent, that only adds to the volatility. Before when ever and what ever that will come to pass, eventually, it will be mathematical, it has always been that way since traders started trading, be it a camel, goat, wheat, oil or coffee. Thats why you look for Bonds down, Equities down and USD down at the same time perpetually. Then it doesn't matter anymore. It has happened 8 times now in 2 months.
