Gas and oil futures all strongly up. Stock markets in the Americas and Europe mostly up overnight. What a difference a day makes.
I dispute the view that WDS needs $100 plus oil prices and crazy high gas prices to justify a SP in the mid 30s. I don't think anyone really believes that such energy prices are sustainable, and WDSs SP has perhaps remained subdued due to fears of demand destruction through the economic damage being caused. Long term, for the good of the world economy, oil needs to be trading stably around the low to mid 80s, and natural gas needs to settle back to an affordable price that is not excessively above the oil energy equivalent.
I fully expect both to happen within the next couple of years and for WDS to do very well out of it.
