Yes, well done but the use of franking credits, with individual application, is not a component of the dividend per se as announced and paid by the company. Where applicable, in simplest terms, it a credit for previously paid tax by the company, and any refund is included in your individual or superannuation return annually by the ATO. It is not paid by the company, in this case WDS. They struggled to pay out a lesser than market forecast of the dividend and is subject to franking credits for some investors.
