Lack of urgency, it appears, both on the Company and the authorities be. The amount of red tapes are staggering. IMHO they would not be conducive to attracting foreign investments.
We cannot blame the investors who decide to sell down their holdings, for that matter.
The two main political parties are well aware that mining is an important contributor to our national wealth and provides tens of thousands jobs in Australia. Are they doing anything to promote the mining industry in an attempt to attract more local and foreign investors in that sector?
There was, I recollect, talk of a one-stop shop to streamline the (environment) approval process. Is that up and running?
