I just had a quick perusal of that ATO link...to me it is just sets the boundaries but I can’t see anything that I would deem as a Govt. directive that the Super Company's need to participate for unemployment etc.
Super always had to right for early release of funds for certain hardships such as for medical reasons as an example.
