Think you need to do a bit of study on cost of RUINABLES vs nuclear / coal, Scott. Do keep an open mind because there are many perspectives to consider.
My conclusion is to go with coal (for Oz) but given the position of the Greenies that is out. So, IMO, nuclear stands out but the Greens are against that too. My view is that if you do not like nuclear, get RID of it 100% from EVERYTHING! But the Greens won't go that far, for them it is bad for this and good for that. That is, they do not know if they are Arthur or Martha!
