'Japan Broadcasting Corporation reported that major Japanese trading house Sojitz Corporation (2768.T) has acquired the right to buy rare earth metals from Lynas Corporation. The deal will cover nearly 30 percent of the annual demand in Japan.'
Yes I believe they still have they right to buy, which is different to the commitment to buy. It is a joint marketing effort for the Jap market. If they find buyers, which I'm sure they will, then LYC has to supply up to the agreed take off amount.
