Spot on Tototy, the technical achievement should not be under estimated in building then operating such a complex plant on this scale and getting to 90% recoveries at such an early stage.

Reassuringly this follows the successful commissioning & operation of the concentrator with above spec recoveries.

Hopefully after the shut down & tweaking we'll seen more from the concentrator and steady improvement at the LAMP.

Punters need to pause a moment and just consider the implications on CoP of both the concentrator & LAMP operating at above spec recoveries. Same amount of con & inputs go in at the start but more REO comes out at a lower CoP per Kg. Lynas haven't really said much re costs recently but just image the impact of delivering $1kg under estimates x 22,000,000pa.

The technical achievements are very reassuring and there a great indication of Lynas delivering at or below planned CoP with strong implications for profitability.
