Anyone can be Aboriginal. There is a three part test that anyone can comply with;
1) You must "Identify as aboriginal"
2) An "aboriginal group" must accept you. There is no definition of how that acceptance is certified or which groups can do it.
3) You must be of "aboriginal descent". As with Bruce Pascoe, Kyam Maher, etc. There is no need to prove it, one only needs to say you believe it .
