Carefully considered, in my book and IMO, means that they had a duty to “carefully consider” it rather than just dismiss it offhand without implying that the looked at it.
this allows them to, if things get nasty or social-media intense, state categorically that they assessed it in terms of best outcome for shareholders.
i “carefully consider” everything written on HC but I don’t fall over myself agreeing with it all. I can propose to start doing the washing up but I don’t always take over doing it for someone else.
they said “carefully considered” because they couldn’t say “pissed ourselves laughing at it”
