It is of course totally true. Developed countries are responsible for at least 70% of cumulative CO2 emissions between 1751 and 2017. Per capita emissions show that Australia is currently one of the worst.

You don't accept per capita emissions as a valid measure because you have the same attitude as most of the deniers that post on here, i.e. " I produce 20 times as much CO2 as the guy in India and have done for 50 years but why should I do anything when there are more of them?"

Simple fact. It makes absolutely no difference WHO emits, the only number that is relevant to how much CO2 is emitted into the atmosphere is the total amount emitted.

If you legitimately believe emissions are causing a crisis then you need to be frantically focused on the large volume emitters as an urgent priority before its too late. Anything less implies you either don't understand maths, or you don't really believe it is a crisis.
