They will likely want to have the new incarnation of BRT start in the new financial year.

On an aside, didn't some very long-term holders already go thru something this like before, way back in 2004/2005 -- which resulted in a dilution of share holdings by 4 or 5 times. i suspect that wouldn't go down well if they proposed this again....
