NEW LIFE FOR BRAINYTOYS

Brainytoys shares are set to re-emerge from a six-month suspension with a new direction after its directors struck a recapitalisation deal, which will see former WA football identity and Thrifty Car Rental Boss, John Walker head a new board of directors. The Perth toymaker confirmed late yesterday that its board would make way for Mr Walker, Richard Simpson and Colin Oxlade after securing a $1.5 million convertible note lifeline. Pitt Capital Partners is believed to have orchestrated the restructure
