"On a positive note we saw massive traffic to nearmap.com throughout the day and a large number of high traffic news sites linking to us via an embedded nearmap.com map - here is an example from The Age. Our servers managed the load really well but you are always a bit nervous as it is impossibile for us to simulate this level of traffic. So far so good and we are confident in our tech but we expect even more traffic over the next few days as more Photomaps are online. We have decided to order additional bandwidth which isn't ahem cheap in Australia but for me the user experience over the next few days in particular is critical. �"
