Just to set the record straight, every user (free/private or paid/commercial) has access to the full resolution imagery.

I could not agree more that the flood imagery will be invaluable to insurance companies. However, the only users currently required to pay are government users. Other businesses are able to access them free of charge. So it appears, at least currently, that no financial benefit will be gained from the great service provided to insurance companies. Maybe this will change, but to the best of my knowledge this is not the case currently.

Although the flood coverage is fantastic promotion of the company, I am still uncertain if it will bring much material gain to the company. The lack of ASX announcements haven't indicated otherwise either.

So the short term will be interesting, there could be great potential for the company... or we could see ourselves sitting in the exact same spot we were a few weeks ago....
