Unfortunately, I agree we are headed to WW3.
Politicians and leaders of countries around the world, have huge egos.
Once their egos have been bruised publicly, its very hard for them to back down. They rather double down, than back down.
And that is the situation we are in, at the moment: two powerful blocs slugging it out, in a proxy war in Ukraine.
