Good posts all. Agree in all with them hence the reason for forum posts to not overshine the real facts, possibilities that could occur.

I don't like being pessimistic but I tend to think why would Petrosen and Senegal renew FAR, with a major interested to drill or China interested. It cuts out the middle man which FAR is, as the end of the day it's never going to have the $ to go into production without the help of someone. If Petrosen were smart they would sell to a major or someone willing to drill based on the results they and far have.

I hope FAR hasn't been used and abused but if your a small kid and a bully is around it tends to happen.

Obviously politicis come into this, and it will depend on what deals are near with FAR when time comes or not. If they have nothing sealed nearly I think FAR is going to lose the extension.

It's a big gamble. I don't like when companies have most or all of their eggs in one basket.

Where to next if extension doesn't get granted for FAR?
