Micky agree with you....Sydney generally will be fine (but not all of Sydney, only selective suburbs, and probably not the west)...the western suburbs is a problem....but its not so much the housing...as the people creating problems.... the public housing estates, create their own unique problems............
who cares if public housing estates do not match house prices in other areas.....its supposed to be housing for the poor people only....just do not buy there if you want capital growth....every city has it slum areas..

friend bought in near Mosman 10 years ago....its still more than double what they paid for it....do they care ???
no......and a little 1 bdr in sth yarra same time...its tripled in price....do they care ???...no....they will only be interested at the time of selling....and they would never consider selling in a depressed market.
