QGC is at it's infant stage and it has plenty going for it. If Santos pull out at this stage, so what!! It would give time to the Management to prove its worth. I am sure that Qgc is worth more than what Santos offered and, given time, someone else will probably jump in and do the same. After all, it is dog eat dog out there and, if you threaten any danger to their markets, someone will buy you out.
Yes, if Santos pulls out, the shares will temporarily drop but, in my opinion, and that is my opinion only, they will get back up again.
The same happend with APA not so very long ago.
