It might be so towie. But at least it is the Administrator's duty to get the best price possible for ay assets sold and it could then encourage other bidders into the foray.

In this instance we also do have someone else in this JV that could have a say in proceedings, the likes of Shell.

Finally towie, I think that you may have got a little mixed up between an "Administrator" and a "Liquidator".

You can DYOR but, IMHO, an Administrator is called in and will do his/hers best the get a company back on track and fully assessing it's viability, while a Liquidator will liquidate the company.

And, We are definitely talking about Administrators here, NOT Liquidators.

And don't forget that ASIC has been put through the ringer in the past for not keeping a proper eye out on how Administrators and Liquidators have been handling their jobs and on how much they charge for their fees.
