On pretty much any time frame you wish to view we are under performing the DJIA. If we are to believe our govt we are a strong economy that is performing well, and the rest of the world is struggling...except where it counts, where we are under performing. We are either due a big rally or they are due a massive fall..... :( Nevertheless the futures on the DJIA are up (despite the XAO factoring in more loss), and apparently the fear mongers are wrong?
