Dr. Rick Obray of Southwest Spine and Pain Center is not alone regarding his excitement of Rexlemestrocel-L

Regarding the P2 results..
..”Dr Hyun Bae, Clinical investigator and Medical Director, Director of Education, Cedars-Sinai Spine Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, and Medical Director of Spine Institute, Santa Monica, USA, said: "We are very excited by these results. This is compelling evidence that Mesoblast's stem cell technology has the potential to change the treatment of spinal disease from focusing on surgical reconstruction to biologic regeneration. Physicians and patients are seeking access to a new modality to treat patients with this highly debilitating disease for whom there are limited options. We hope that these outcomes will be replicated in a pivotal trial."

There are a few other investigators that share the view of Dr Obray and Dr Bae. With SI ..his way of doing things has always been to leave to the Independent Medical specialists to interpret MSB’s trials. Whilst this provides superior integrity around the data, I think at times it would have benefited the SP (against shorters), if he showed the excitement that the investigators display when reading out the data. So understanding that SI is not a spruiker (and never will be) , I was cheerfully surprised by the positive excitement (emotion) he has shown over the last couple of months in talking the market through the Teva relationship , P3 updates and the 1^st Cohort reading on RA ..

And what a great timing with last weeks news on Knees and OA...maybe the last piece of the puzzle to discuss with an Orthopaedic partner.
