    "Australia is rooted..."

Currently, but there it always hope.

It's a national disgrace that we have let dam building know-how atrophy to such an extent that we can't even build such vital infrastructure properly. We did Snowy for goodness sake, world leaders.

Thankfully after disgraceful decades of anti-dam governments ScoMo is once again putting wins for Australia on the board.

"The Morrison government is set to announce funding for a series of dams for rural communities across Australia.

Funding for a list of dams in drought-affected communities was revealed by Nine News on Tuesday night, including the Mole River Dam on the border of NSW and Queensland, Dungowan near Tamworth and Wyangala in central-west NSW."

Dams are vital in this land of drought and flooding rains and they also serve as a genuinely low carbon-dioxide source of power, unlike windmills.

I'm with you Dave. More dams, more often, go ScoMo.
