Recently, when I was in a luxury car show room looking at the latest models on offer I overheard one gentleman who was buying a car for his wife ask if he could get a discount.
A justifiable question one would have thought bearing in mind he was spending more than some people spend on their first house.
The salesman looked at him as though he'd just trodden in dog poo and said."I'm sorry we don't do discounts. This is German technology and the best car money can buy, if you want the car that's the price".
Of course he bought the car. His wife wanted it, he didn't want to lose face and he didn't want to appear as though he couldn't afford it.
It's the same with ESG: If you want a world-class resource then you are going to have to pay the asking price.
And I suspect the asking price is higher than some on here suspect.
We shareholders at ESG don't do discounts.
