They will piously argue creative destruction is required. In their story, value destruction is certain, while the creative is a maybe.
It can be said the transfiguration has already happened - to the share price, now deeply discounted. Unpleasant for prior holders and those who subscribed to the raise.
FY24 accounts will be out in 4-6 weeks. Perhaps the matter can be re-argued then with added data.
