@DimDimIt would be much appreciated if you could provide us with the most recent Broker data for CRN...where do the Retail brokers sit, re massive net changes?
We know that Aust. Super & L1 Capital have sold off huge amounts recently. I assume other instos. have also been the major sellers since 21.3.2025 ( but none who own 5%+, so no Reporting changes?), due to the massive increase in daily Volume- big red flag for CRN.
Some instos., however, been very likely been big buyers since 21.3.2025- a major vote of confidence that CRN will be able to survive until "early 2027", & then become very profitable, & pay its debts (if met coal is still c.US $190 then).

@borano's above posts that Sev.en (or others) has bought very small amounts of CRN's bonds, an amount he says is "not meaningfull".
b. Furthermore, If borano is correct, does this mean it is very unlikely that Sev.en could succeed in forcing CRN into a major debt for equity swap- & the resultant massive dilution for current CRN shareholders?
c. If CRN was in real risk of a massive SP fall (or worse!), why have the levels of shorting on it been relatively modest (albeit increasing to c.3.2 % last week)?
d.do you agree that the very cashed-up EMG, who own c.51% of CRN, would
never allow the value of their investment to be smashed by opportunistic companies/funds etc. whilst CRN is having 'temporary' liquidity problems.
EMG could simply offer them a loan (perhaps US $195m, at market rates c.11%?) to ensure CRN's survival- which it knows CRN would be able to repay in c.2-3 years; &, more importantly, protects the 'true value' of CRN for EMG.
e.. do you consider there is a likelihood that EMG could obtain the other 49% of CRN very cheaply, if CRN's funding problem cannot be overcome, independently, by CRN itself? How could this be done?
(In the link on 19.5.25 above, B. Carter said in The Australian that EMG, re embattled CRN, may opt to "privatise the business").

@borano, do you agree that it is mainly instos./funds etc that have been doing the major selling very recently in CRN, even
after Aust. Super & L1 Capital sold? One can assume they are well informed- why have they been selling?
If B. Carter's doom-laden & very damaging comments are "rubbish" & "BS" (your words), why has CRN not decided to issue public comments & rebuttals, & soothing updates on progress in refinancing discussions etc. with the 'truth" on CRN's likely survival & to try to stop the SP from continuing to freefall?
(Some ASX cos., in similar circs, when many rumours are circulating, sometimes do adopt this strategy eg DVP)
