But a good fund manager of the size of Australian Super should be providing a high risk/high return/ opportunistic fund that can hold those assets deemed unfit for the major, passive funds. In the case of Australian Super a 1% allocation to this speculative fund would equal $3.5bn. It could be sold to the millennials who have an appetite for the gains that come from opportunistic investment. I'm told by Coronado that their Notes are trading at a an 18% yield. That's the sort of investment that should be in such a high return, opportunistic fund.
