I would have to say you got that statement wrong. Everything I’ve read over the past 12 months or more from the Pres couldn’t be more pro PLL. I know people get a bit touchy with the serial down tampers - myself included. I usually put up with them for awhile to see if they offer up any sound commentary before losing faith, getting irritated, and adding them to my ignore list.
The Pres has stated he only recently exited PLL, and not just PLL, and not because of the ‘news’ of the other day either. Read back a couple months, you will find out he is not a downramper.
