The eyes of the people are on Piedmont and they know it.
This is not the 1900's were mining projects were bulldozed unchecked. Environmental oversight is now all encompassing, not only from local and state governments but the shareholders as well. Those of us who are invested in ethical funds know this. If mining companies want to raise capital for their projects they HAVE to work within these environmental parameters, they have to do it right.
Piedmont are ticking all the boxes here.
They are and will continue to operate under watchful eyes and will gain the confidence of the local folk going forward.
I think these folk have been spooked by social media and past bad mining practices.
Piedmont has and will address these issues.
This is a blip on the radar.
