You're the CEO and you "didn't even know what to tell them"? Investors know how many presentations he's given. Suddenly this guy has nothing to say?
No money? "Piedmont has already spent $58 million on the project". For F sake, at least as CEO come up with a better excuse. Pathetic.
This changes my investment thesis and makes me re-evaluate my feel of the CEO as half Disallowed salesman. I understand the need to generate interest and raise capital partners/funding but this is a way too loose.
