The fact that people are goin on about the statement ‘we didn’t even know what to tell them’; I used to do environmental impact assessments as a junior landscape architect years ago. It was boring as hell but necessary. So, basically you wouldn’t know what to tell authorities until you have done the assessment. It’s pretty simple really. This is just a journalist who has a clear objective to make pll look bad and hype up the story. You wouldn’t expect them to go to authorities without any facts or clarity. That would have been dumb and embarrassing. Now we get people commenting here, all suddenly big experts in the process of starting a mine… sigh. Clearly no idea. People are so gullible and that exactly is why stockbrokers are so wealthy… think about it
