My intention wasn't to write-off the 'gas glut' as an overall theory, I was more trying to critically appraise the World Energy Outlook in more detail than the comment itself (which is easy to grab hold of and republish out of context).

Thanks for the link on Chinese gas. I've got a couple of requests in with a few broker mates for any detailed recent reports on gas supply in/for the Asian region, as I think the demand side is easier to quantify, but supply side forecasts from countries other than Australia into that specific market is proving (for me) more difficult to find.
