    I think you have missed the point. Nobody is blaming the victim as she was a very young woman new to the country and under the illusion that Australia was safe - we can be pretty sure nobody told her otherwise.

    The point I was making is our young men has been so emasculated that we have moved from where good men without a thought made sure that women didn't walk the streets alone after midnight (me and my x-er friends) to the millennial generation who don't think this is even a problem. This generation is so full of feminist idiology that it doesn't even occur to them that young women are putting themselves at great risk by walking around at all hours in the dark on their own.

    You can see this in how the narrative has been spun after this crime. It is not good men look after and protect your friends, but good men need to be less sexist.
