If you follow this stock closely you will notice that it usually opens high and ends low. It will regularly do this even on an upward momentum day. The huge upswing days on the 31/12, 2/1, 5/1 saw ABY close in the centre of the trading range and not at the top. The last couple of days, it has ended the day at the low on relatively low volume. So the closing figure isn't a true refection on what the stock has traded during the course of the day. Of the last 44 trading days, ABY has only ended the day higher than it opened on 15 of those day. In the last month (24 days of trading) ABY only closed higher than it opened on 6 of those day.
