not too sure how it all works out - but australia has been supporting the USA in hopeless forays into iraq and afghanistan - which is nothing more than buying credits from the USA - australia has agreements with anzus etc .
one thing for sure is that watso is not happy with australia being the deputy sheriff in this part of the world - but one thing for sure , is that both the libs and the labs know how to please the americans (ie the USA) - just look at gillard how she fawned over the americans in some speech.
one thing for sure, is that the indos will never attack australia - because australia has the backing of the yanks - and the yanks know that australia has the "natural resources"
