9:00AM Looksmart upped to Outperform at Piper; target $4 (LOOK) 2.62: USB Piper Jaffray upgrades to OUTPERFORM from Mkt Perform and raises price target from $2.50 to $4.00 (based on 20x 2003 est of $0.20). Believes LOOK is likely to outperform expectations in Q4 and also give strong 2003 guidance based on the popularity of search monetization. In addition, the recent acquisition of Inktomi by Yahoo! at a high multiple also provides additional momentum for LOOK's model.

Considering this is from a Broking House with still no news from Looksmart, means there is alot of momentum to be had between now and the 29th of Jan when Look posts its Q4 results.
