I believe the reason D&L1 plugged itself was due to the breakdown of the formation within the well because of the uncontrolled flows. With a proper BOP secured on the well, the chances of D&L2 plugging itself are as likely as it happening to any other O&G well drilled, therefore quite low. I think everyone at the location will be doing their all to make sure that the testing process runs smoothly. No-one wants another mishap.
