    NSW lost 13 million acres . The state is nearly 200 million acres. That still leaves 180 million acres that could potentially burn. Your explanation doesnt make sence. The reason why it hasnt burnt much these last 2 years is its been very wet and cooler.

    One swallow does not make a summer. There has been no up trend in fires in Australia . There has been an anomaly.
