Especially one who lives in one of the urban city bubbles.

You said it yourself - the narrative being pushed now is "beware expats and foreigners bringing the infection from overseas", when in reality it's just rich Chinese nationals wanting to return home because they think China is now safer. The CCP will write "traveller from Australia tested positive" when it's just a returning citizen.

If and when there's a second outbreak, just watch the narrative swing to "the foreigners brought it back". All those donations of medical supplies and masks in the name of Chinese good will towards the world - where do you think they confiscated it from? Game's set and they played it masterfully. CCP aren't amateurs.
